I’m Jennifer, and I’m so happy you’re here.
Between us, I like to think of myself as a Renaissance woman, but frankly, I’m just an ENFP who is easily bored, so I delve into a wide variety of interests to keep life engaging. Among the many hats I’ve worn, the standouts are wife, mother, artist, actress, DIY-er, and writer. More recently, I have added medical researcher, meditation junkie, co-creator and blogger to the list (please be patient with that last one – a techie, I am not!)
Our family consists of me, my husband of 21 years, aka Guitar Man, our 13-year-old son, Dragon, and our 11-year-old daughter, Peach. No, these aren’t their real names, but they never asked to be paraded across the Internet, so I’m doing what I can to protect their privacy. You’ll no doubt be reading about the three of them on a regular basis.
Truth be told, my initial vision for this blog was simply to journal how we’ve updated (and continue to update) our 1963 split-entry home, however, I found myself so inspired by my latest passions that I decided to blend the two. I know – weird, huh? A DIY/home improvement blog that practices the Law of Attraction (in the lotus position, of course.) I look forward to sharing my journey with you on both fronts, and regardless of whether we’re talking intuition or drywall (ugh), hopefully we’ll inspire and learn from one another! You may also learn a bit about Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections, or PANDAS, as it is playing a big part in our family’s recent life. In the end, it all comes back to home, though, as this is where love, healing and hope all happen.
